Complete the application form on page 2 of the Prospectus, and email your application to crafts@greatriverfolkfest.org

Please attach to the email:

  • The completed application
  • Four Photos of your work as an attachment (one showing detail)

Alternately, you may include the information requested on the form in the body of an email, and attach the photos.

DATE & TIME

Sat., Aug. 28, 2021, 10 am. - 6 pm.
Sun., Aug. 29, 2021, 10 am. - 5 pm.
Crafters/artists must commit to both days for the entire time listed.

ELIGIBILITY

Our goal is to present quality, original, hand-made art and craft objects. These may be in the range from traditional to contemporary forms of arts and crafts. We will not, however, accept items made from kits or molds, or those that are mass produced. All items handcrafted by exhibitor.

APPLICATION

Please submit four (4) high resolution images of individual pieces; one (1) should be in detail. These will be used in jurying and advertising, please submit quality photos that represent your work in the best way possible. A photo of display is optional and encouraged. Email application and digital pictures to crafts@greatriverfolkfest.org.

DISPLAY AND INSTALLATION

Each participant must provide their own display material and setup. Spaces accommodate up to a 12' x12' tent. Displays will be selected for awards between 11:00 am. and 1:00 pm. on Saturday.

LOCATION

Beautiful Riverside Park, the home of the Great River Folk Festival.

NO SMOKING

In consideration of fellow crafters, please refrain from smoking at your booth or on the fest grounds.

SALES

All proceeds from sales go to the crafter. All participants are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax. You must have a Wisconsin mobile vendor license.

JURYING PROCESS

The crafts committee will jury applicants in Mid-June. A maximum of five (5) artists in each media will be selected. Photos should represent current work similar to what you intend to sell. Applicants will be notified of acceptance and non-acceptance via email.

FEES

$60. Fees will be payable via PayPal in early July. Payment information will be included in acceptance email.

MARKETING MATERIALS

Images may be included in a printed program, on website, or on social media. The Artist Statement from application may be used in marketing material.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Chosen participants will be required to tag Driftless Makers Exchange, Great River Folk Fest, and self-promote the event.

FESTIVAL PASSES

The registration fee includes a weekend pass for you and one guest.

PETS

For the safety of your pet and others, pets are not allowed on the Festival grounds.
